Rates from HB 252 (2024) apply from 2025 and are not indexed; exemptions from the 2025 PIT-ADJ instructions. No 2026 change enacted.

What we couldn’t confirm

  • New Mexico hasn’t said explicitly whether the federal $6,000 senior deduction counts; its form points to a federal line that excludes it, so we don’t count it.
  • We did not re-check HB 221 (2026), a second bill on the military cap.
